Teachers wear many different hats during the course of a work day, but each teacher presents special gifts to students. I believe that my creative edge inspires students to produce quality work, always building and always questioning why. The marvel of questioning and the wonder at fantastic journeys supreme literature allows for us to take in class creates magic and adds a spice to a life. I am not always successful at selling the package, but I certainly believe in it. And that faith in curiosity is my trademark in the school system. If one student’s dream happens during the process, it is one more dream added to our wayfaring world. Blueprint for Design: If we take a systematic element, such as interconnectedness, and work that concept into a lesson using Discourse or Inspiration or streaming video, the objective would be to reach out and touch someone's learning. For me, as a designer, the focus has been on curriculum choices and then: how can technological design enhance the work already in place, to enrich the meaning, to garner more understanding? In education, variety of designs become appealing because they offer options for multiple intelligences. With a laptop tool in place, how can we magnetize resources efficiently and intelligently?
Instructional Design Paper: Distance Streams
Distance Education allows systematic learning to take place, providing structure and dialogue from the school to the workplace to the home. This new form of learning has allowed various blueprints to be designed that allow specialization across the curriculum as well as specializations from faculty and students. Distance education formats must be studied, scrutinized and applied to allow growth in the field to continue.
